keith and i packed up the wagon with bikes, swimsuits and two days of picnic lunches. we were so excited to head off to Newport Rhode Island for this summer's annual Folk Festival. we had so much fun last year we decided to attend both days of the festival this year and o'boy am i glad we did. the weekend line-up was packed with so many great bands. the weekend before we took the time to plan how we were going to see all our favorites since bands playing on three stages throughout the day. i think we did a good job selecting. i included links to the npr free live pod casts of most of the performances we saw :) i recommend checking them all out. ~ beth-ann
