when i was younger i was never a big fan of valentines day. i thought it was too commercial and a ploy for the greeting card companies to make money. this may still be true. however, as i have gotten older and the post holiday winter blues kick in, valentines day became a fun celebration of love and longer warmer days ahead for us northerners. the past few years keith and i get a little festive by sharing small gifts (sometimes we make them) and making dinner together with candle light and a romantic mix playing. below are my february picks for the cook in my life and my newest little love. how do you celebrate with the sweethearts in your life?
#1 valentine card - letterpress printed greeting card - i love you ribs : #2 swiss army tool - spartan hardwood : #3 bowls - bamboo mixing bowls : #4 wooden mix tape baby teether : #5 romeo & juliet counting book : #6 lisa b. wool baby socks
